Moving to another country doesn’t have to be difficult and there are more options out there than you may think! Here are the top easiest ways to move to another country, starting with studying abroad.
Easiest way to move to another country option 1: Studying Abroad
Studying abroad/getting a master’s abroad is hands down the easiest way to move to another country. Why is it so easy? The visa is guaranteed and can last years (anywhere from 1-5 years), plus you get access to amazing visa benefits for completing a degree in that country.
In Germany, for instance, if you graduate from a university you will automatically qualify for the 18-month job seeker visa, which allows you to stay in the country post-graduation and find a job so you can stay long-term! They also make it way easier and faster for you to get permanent residency and citizenship in Germany if you have a German degree. How amazing is that!
Option 2: Become an Au Pair
The next simple way to move abroad to another country is by becoming an Au Pair. An Au Pair is basically a fancy term for a full-time nanny. You will work full time and live full time with a family, and in return, they pay for your accommodation, food, and sometimes language lessons.
Keep in mind that the monthly pay for an Au Pair is extremely low. The average monthly payment for an Au Pair is around 200€. But it’s not too bad if you don’t plan on spending much, and your bills are mostly covered anyway. This is a great option to move abroad if you enjoy working with kids, or if you don’t have the desire to get a normal job, or if you don’t have the money to study abroad.
Option 3: Become a digital nomad
Another exciting and easy way to move to another country is by becoming a digital nomad! This is the perfect option for you if you own a business, you’re a freelancer, or if you work remotely for a company. Many countries around the globe now offer digital nomad or freelance visas, so this is more plausible than ever before.
The only downside to becoming a digital nomad is that you will have to prove you have the means to sustain yourself. I recommend checking each country's visa requirements very closely, as each place has different processes and income requirements.

Option 4: Language Learning Visa
If you aren’t interested in going back to school, you hate kids, and you aren’t a digital nomad, the next easiest way to move to another country is by getting a language-learning visa. Many countries offer this type of visa that allows foreigners to reside in their country (usually for a year or two) for the sole purpose of learning the local language.
It’s important to keep in mind that this visa is easy to get, but it’s probably the most costly option on this list. You will have to prove you are taking a minimum of X hours per week (usually 15-20 hours) in the country you’re planning to move to. The visa application requires this, and they take attendance in the classes, so you can’t just say you’re going to do it and not do it lol.
But if you’re interested in learning a new language and you have the money for the courses (I’d plan to spend anywhere from 200€-2000€/MONTH for your courses), then this is an amazing option for you!
(The cost of courses depends on the country, of course. The more expensive the city, the more expensive the classes, so expect to pay a lot more in places like Paris, Rome, Copenhagen, etc.)
Option 5: Teach English
The final easiest way to move to another country is by teaching English abroad! There are so many places in the world where you can teach English, earn a liveable salary, and enjoy life abroad with locals and other international friends.
This is also an excellent option if you want to live a slower-paced lifestyle, as you’ll have fun connecting with local people while also having time to travel around in your free time.
A couple of great places I’d recommend you looking into for teaching English abroad are Portugal, Spain, and Czech Republic.

In conclusion, there are a number of ways to move to another country but these are just 5 of the ways I’ve known to be the most straightforward. The easiest way to move to another country is quite subjective depending on your circumstances and goals.
Getting a master’s abroad is hands down the easiest way, but it might not be for you if you don’t have the budget. Becoming an Au Pair is excellent for kid lovers, but the payment is quite low. Learning a new language and teaching English are both exciting options that I’d recommend for everyone.
